Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the goods, without giving any reason (§§ 355, 312g German Civil Code, BGB). A clear statement to info@elysavelle.com is sufficient. This right is for consumers; a purchase by a business for its trade is a B2B sale to which it does not apply.

Goods must be returned complete and, where possible, in their original packaging. A machine that has been assembled onto its table, wired in and put into production cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal. The direct cost of returning a heavy machine is borne by the customer unless the item arrived defective or damaged, in which case we arrange and pay for the collection.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we confirm the outcome and refund to the original means of payment within 14 days.

Warranty

For consumers the statutory warranty (Gewährleistung) applies for 24 months from delivery (§§ 437 ff. BGB). Consumable and wear parts — needles, bobbins, loopers, belts, knives and presser feet — are not covered as defects. Damage from the wrong needle system, incorrect threading or running a machine beyond its rating is not a warranty defect.
